- CRChristy RoseMar 18, 20265.0I’ve always had great service at this location, usually with Sam. I recently heard she’s out due to pain from the job, and I truly hope she’s doing okay. She’s amazing at what she does, and it really shows not only in her work as a stylist but also in how she runs this team. My son was due for a haircut and with his special needs, he knows and likes Sam, but with her being out, she gave us a recommendation. We saw Kay yesterday and she did a wonderful job in making my son comfortable and looking handsome! Just another example of the quality here. There’s a newer location on the other side of DeLand that I actually live closer to, and I initially thought that would become my go-to, but after thinking about it, I realized how much the atmosphere and customer service at this Country Club location matter. It’s always welcoming, friendly, and consistent. You’re greeted with smiles and kindness every time, and that kind of experience keeps me coming back no matter the wait. Sam has clearly built a strong team, and it shows. While I’d happily follow these stylists wherever they go, this location has definitely earned my loyalty. I just wanted to share my appreciation for the amazing service and environment here.

With 2 people checked in and the wait being 20 minutes on the screen I was turned away and told that they couldn’t see my child because it would be “too close to closing time”. This location is a joke. I decided to return to my usual location which according to the ladies is owned and run by the same owner and are supposed to follow the same policy and were disgusted by the treatment we received.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
