  Today, I attempted to reach out in regard to a provided service for my daughter and the manager hung up the phone during the conversation.(recorded). My daughter asked the stylist Precious if she could perform a silk press and provided photos of what she asked for and the reply was that she could deliver the same results. I will provide the before and a couple of hours after of what a silk press does not look like for African American hair. My daughter attempted to reach back out to her with the complaint she blocked my daughter, then my eldest daughter wrote her she blocked her and she was very disrespectful to me in character. This kind of character as a person does not need to be employed anywhere because ethically when you do not have good customer service skills it speaks volumes and when a manager supports this kind of mannerism without getting to the bottom of the situation then it is time to take it up further to the chain of command to show this type of shotty work to others and address the character of the individuals involved so that it is perfectly understood that quality and experience means a lot. Precious went back in lied to her management and she took her side after lying about what took place or either her manager supports the unsatisfactory experience that my daughter had at this salon. Moving forward with a few others this mentality has to stop and will. The first photo is not a silk press look up photos for a silk press and it will show you. An hour later this is what my daughter hair look like. UNBELIEVABLY UNSATISFACTORY!!!The last photo shows a woman with kinky black hair and how a real silk press looks like!!! AMATEUR STYLIST DO NOT PLAY IN MY DAUGHTERS HAIR!!! You could not be in one of “our seats” with this kind of work!! I’m glad JCPenney gave you a chance at it, I’m just angry my child had to be your Guinea pig!!! PLEASE GO BACK TO INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF HAIR AND LEARN HOW TO DO A SILK PRESS!

  Kirk is amazing 👏 😍 ❤️ all I gotta say!! Miracle worker! I have Puerto Rican hair and it's very unmanageable and he makes it work every time!

  Ray is fantastic! She is a skilled cosmetologist who can do ALL hair types. When was the last time a black client could get a weave, braids, crochet, natural, and straightened hair at a jcp salon? I think she is the most talented stylist there based on the other work I see. I will continuing seeing Ray as long as I live in the greater Daytona area. She is such a gem! Always leaves me looking and feeling beautiful! Thank you Ray!

  My mom went here and had Leilani. She provided a pic and here is what she got. She literally is heartbroken and cannot believe she paid money for this. My 7 year old could have done this. Called and spoke with the manager Jackie who wanted her to come in and have it fixed. She refuses to let them in her hair again and I TOTALLY understand. As soon as I mentioned a refund so she can go somewhere legit, she started saying how she "needs" to let her fix it. The pics added are the colors she asked for and the colors she got. So disappointed.
