I had the best experience ever. Shea did not
Disappoint!
She is a sweet lady and went out of her way for me and I so appreciate it because I definitely had let my hair grow down to my legs syndrome cause I was never trusting anyone again.
Thank goodness I met my angel!
Thank you Shae

Good haircut, nice service and stylist was great.
$34 for a simple men's clip and cut? Too much $ for a 15 minute cut without coloring, shampoo, product or anything extra. Just a barbershop cut...took 15 minutes! Scissors and a 0 clipper. No eyebrows, no extras trims...$34

I thought Anne, the lady who did my hair was very kind and nice and genuinely care about all 8oo her clients hair condition. I felt this vibe from her. Overall, the place is aesthetically clean and quality products are being used on your hair there.

Natalie, was AMAZING! She fixed my hair color and my cut because the hair dressers at Winston Park Hair Cuttery had my hair in 3 different colors and gave me a bad haircut! She was knowledgeable and I left with the style and cut I wanted. Excellent skills, I’m definitely putting her on my speed dial:)

The stylists were rude and unprofessional! I am new to this area and need a stylist who understands my hair type. I typically only go to salons that specialize in curly or ethnic hair as I have had bad experiences in the past dealing with stylists who were untrained with my 3B curly hair texture. However, today I decided to let my guards down and try my luck with a more mainstream hair salon. I called to schedule an appointment for me and my twin sister. I made sure to tell them we had curly hair and we agreed on a time later in the day. I then texted back to add another service to the appointment and explained that if this could not happen today, I could reschedule for another day. The lady said it's fine and we can come in at the same scheduled time. She was not really listening to me on the phone as she was talking to another co worker, which I should have taken as a RED flag. Here is what my twin sister and I experienced today.
-No friendly greetings/no introductions, just angry faces (My sister came in before me and said they seemed angry and that her stylist seemed worried, for some reason, that my sister had some highlights in her hair. They were rude when I got there too!)
-My grumpy stylist looked at me with a bitchy look and mumbled, "You're with me." Her disrespect shocked me and I almost walked out, but I wanted a cheap haircut. I really didn't want to deal with her attitude, but I am nonconfrontational by nature, so I bit my tongue. Next time, I will just go to some expensive ethnic salon that is dedicated to curly hair. I feel like I have to pay extra for some respect nowadays.
- When I sat down, my stylist touched my hair and said "Why is it wet?" My hair was not wet, it was slightly damp from when I detangled it earlier that day. The stylists then began to brush our curls. Curly hair should only ever be brushed when wet! I could hear my hair break with every stroke. This is a no no! When I booked the session, I told the lady on the phone, which I found out was my grumpy stylist, that I wanted the Curly Cut, which is always cut dry or damp! The hair should then be shampooed, conditioned/detangled, brushed, and styled.I found out my stylist didn't even know what a Curly Cut was or that DevaCurl was the brand that popularized it.
-No consultation- The stylist kept cutting me off whenever I tried to explain what I wanted
-When she finally asked what style I wanted, I gave her a detailed explanation and even the name of the specific cut... She looked confused and asked for a picture. I then tried to show her a picture in my phone and she rudely said, "not now!"
-My stylist complained about her ex husband, her brother, her sister's ex husband, and her co-workers
- My stylist REEKED of cigarette smoke and her hair was oddly unkept and appeared snarled and dry
-When I told her about the coupon that I found on the website for new customers, she said she wasn't aware of any coupons. I showed it to her and then she reluctantly told her co-worker about it.
-The stylists constantly complained that it was almost closing time and that we should have come in at a different time. When I booked the session, I made sure to tell them that I could come in another day.
-My stylist would make rude remarks throughout the session
-The hair dye was way over priced!
- She over waxed my eyebrows and kept screaming, "I can see your eyes!" She told me that she was going to only do a touch up. I like fuller eyebrows, like Audry Hepburn's. The thin or "sperm" eyebrow look was never appealing to me.
- The grumpy stylist would yell at herself and say things like "Stop it!" out of the blue. At first I thought she was yelling at me! Crazy!
- My sister and I have hair dye everywhere! I found some on my toes! How does that happen?
WORST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I miss my old stylist!
