I have curly hair and not many hairdressers know how to cut curly hair . She is great 😊 I’ve recommended already her to friends, and she is very helpful and attentive.

When I arrived yesterday for my 10 AM appointment with Maria, which I had booked weeks ago, she was still with her previous customer and told me she was running late and to "go shopping in the stores near the Hair Cuttery and come back In a half hour". I should have just left and never come back, but because I am a kind person I gave her the benefit of the doubt and returned at 10:30. She was still with her previous customer and told me it would be five more minutes so I waited - for another half hour!! So my 10 AM appointment became 11 AM, and in the meantime I had to cancel my plans for the rest of the afternoon thanks to her. Her response was that "it was just one of those days". When I asked her why she didn't call me before my appointment when she knew she was going to be running late so I could make other arrangements she replied that she didn't think of it. I should not have left her a tip, but again because I'm a kind person I did. But I will not go back to Maria and probably not another Hair Cuttery. I most assuredly will not recommend Hair Cuttery and especially not Maria! After posting this review I intend to go on Yelp every other social media platform to warn other potential customers not to use your services. At the very least, you should terminate Maria as she is the absolute worst representative of your company. She should be ashamed of herself but I'm sure she is not.
