I specifically told the stylist I wanted a ‘v shape’ in the back, and that I did NOT want it cut straight across. After styling my hair at home, I realized that she did exactly what I asked her NOT to do, so I decided to return to the salon for a refund. Initially, the woman I spoke with said ‘we don’t give refunds’, and that my hair ‘looked fine’, despite not being what I asked for. ‘I’ll fix it for you’ she said, which was obviously unacceptable, since you can’t fix the shape without cutting more length off my hair. So I refused and asked for the refund again. ‘We don’t give refunds for things we can fix.’ And when I asked her if she was telling me that she would not refund me, she reaches into the register, and slaps a $20 bill on the counter. ‘That’s not what I paid,’ I said. ‘Yes it is’ she said, in a very nasty tone of voice. ‘I paid $31 for the services I received, including the tip, and I want a full refund. ‘Well, you’re not getting it.’ She said, ‘You can take the $20 and leave!’ At this point, I’m upset, embarrassed, and angry. I took the $20 and promised to leave this Google review as a warning that this salon provides a poor quality haircut, and horrible customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would.
