I’m extremely upset with my experience ordering same-day delivery through Sephora. I realized shortly after placing my order that the delivery address was incorrect, so I called the store to see if the order could be canceled or the address changed. I was told they couldn’t do anything because it was handled by a third-party service and that I would need to cancel through the app, which isn’t possible until after the order is delivered. That’s the issue: I no longer live at that address.
I then called customer service. The representative was very kind and tried to help, but ultimately said we had to wait until the order was delivered, even after I explained that I do not live at that address. She suggested calling the store together to see what options were available. At that point, I was even willing to go pick the order up myself.
We were left on hold with the store for nearly an hour, with no updates or follow-up. During that time, I called the store from another phone just to let them know I was on the other line waiting. Someone answered but didn’t say anything, and I overheard them say, “Someone’s been on the other line calling all day trying to cancel their order, kind of complaining to their manager.” This was incredibly unprofessional and upsetting to hear as a customer who was simply trying to fix a mistake.
Shortly after that, the order was marked as picked up and “on route” to the incorrect address while we were still waiting on hold. I only found out because I checked the app and hung up.
I understand there are policies, and I acknowledge that the incorrect address was my mistake. However, the lack of urgency, communication, professionalism, and problem-solving from this store was extremely disappointing. It felt like once my money was taken, there was little concern about whether the product actually made it to me. As a customer who spends money with this company because I genuinely love their products, experiences like this make me hesitant to continue shopping here. Customer service and how situations like this are handled matter just as much as the products themselves, and this experience left me feeling frustrated, ignored, and unsupported.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RACIAL PROFILING. I spend so much money here(mainly online). Every time I go to the Brandon location, I'm treated as if I’m suspicious or stealing.
Today specially, I returned an unopened and unused primer I purchased online. When I walked up to the counter, I tried to show the cashier my email which shows the barcode to return the product and she bypasses that and has me put in my phone number and then gives me this weird suspicious look and asks if this was used when obviously it hasn’t been opened and then proceeds to just stare at me so I ask if there’s something wrong. The time before that I purchased a perfume and the same thing happened… I’m treated with these weird stares. There is no warm welcoming or warm goodbye. I don’t know if this is some type of GenZ thing but they really need to teach their employees proper service. a simple smile can change a person’s experience, especially when they’re spending money there.

I’m really disappointed in this Sephora at Brandon Mall in Brandon, Florida 33511. According to your posted Sunday store hours, the store is open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. However, when I arrived to pick up my online order, the employees locked the doors at 5:56 PM, preventing me from entering the store.
This is completely unacceptable especially during the busy holiday season when customers rely on accurate store hours to pick up their purchases. I planned my visit specifically based on the posted closing time, and there is no reason customers should be turned away before that time.
I waited outside, and as shown in the attached photo, the employees closed early and then all walked out together at 6:01 PM, confirming that the early closure was intentional.
When customers choose the “Pick Up In Store” option, they expect the store to remain open for the full posted hours. Closing early not only causes inconvenience but also reflects poorly on the professionalism and customer service standard associated with the Sephora brand. I even called the store while standing outside before closing time and no one answered the phone as I could see them standing around talking.
