Violadale was the piercer who checked on it and she was absolutely the best piercer I could have ever had. She was super kind, comforting, and has such a compassionate personality. She has the most beautiful spirit and I trust her more than anything. She is the kind of piercer that I love as I can get nervous with piercings but she is super gentle. We unfortunately did have to let go of my nose piercing as it still hadn’t healed in a year and a half, but now we get to repierce the other side of my nose, which i’m so excited to experience it with her! Very Highly recommend !!!

She is so unbelievably kind and patient, always willing to answer your questions and to give advice and education about the piercings you get and how to take care of them. I’ve returned to the NYC location many times to get answers or some sort of help and honestly kept leaving disappointed. It took ONE 30 minutes trip to the Bal Harbour location to have all my prayers answered (October, 2025). I had the absolute pleasure of being introduced to their piercer Viola, she’s truly an angel. Not only is she soooo kind but she’s extremely knowledgeable! With a simple replacement of the metal, my pierced area felt better immediately! She taught me something new that I never even thought about when it came to piercings and metals that you use. She was so patient with me and answered any question I had with so much care and compassion knowing how frustrated I was with my previous experience in NYC. And 4 days later before my flight back to New York, she asked me to stop by the store so she can look at it again and make sure it starting to finally heal properly without any further irritation. I came back and was greeted with open arms and so much love. She checked in on me and made sure everything was back on track and just in those 4 days it already started to improve. Overall all I HIGHLY recommend coming to this location and seeing Viola for any of your piercing desires. After this last piercing I said never again, till coming here. I’ll fly to Florida just to be pierced by her! Over the moon with my experience

Are your earrings sold as singles or pairs?
Maria Tash jewelry is sold as singles unless otherwise stated. To order a pair, please add two of the items to your cart. Our large earrings are the only items we sell in pairs. These items are pictured as a pair and the product description also states that they’re sold as a pair.
What size jewelry works best for me?
Our experience involves you pairing one-on-one with our stylists to completely guide you through your styling and piercing. There are multiple sizes to our jewelry, but our team will make sure that you are properly sized and confident.
What is the difference between a threaded and traditional stud?
Threaded backings use a screw-on/off design that makes the earring stay more securely in the ear. This is our standard style of jewelry. A traditional backing is also available. This is the traditional style of earring where you have a butterfly back that is separate and pushes onto the post to hold the jewelry in place.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are preferred for piercings but walk-ins are always welcome depending on availability. Appointments are not required for fittings and installs or purchasing jewelry.
Can I be pierced with my own jewelry?
Due to sterilization needs, we do not pierce with jewelry that is not Maria Tash. The best selections from our full collection will be available for styling and piercing. Our styles come in white, yellow, rose, and black gold. You're welcome to bring in your existing Maria Tash pieces and consult with a piercer to see if it can be used for an initial piercing.
How many piercings can I get in one session?
We recommend up to four piercings per session, but this is dependent on the piercings you are thinking about and your anatomy. Our stylists and piercers can best consult with you during your visit.
Can I be pierced if I am under 18?
The State of Florida requires a notarized parental consent form before performing any piercing on a minor. If you are under the age of 18, the following form must be completed by your parent or guardian in the presence of a notary and notarized prior to your appointment. Please arrive at MARIA TASH with your parental consent form as well as a valid ID for both you and your legal guardian so we can perform your dream piercing.
Do you pierce with a needle or a piercing gun?
All of our piercings are made with single use sterile needles rather than piercing guns. We do not use piercing guns as they are not very accurate and cannot be properly sterilized.
