On November 20, 2025, I treated myself to a spa day—my first. I chose the Bliss Package which was 4 hours long and consisted of a massage, facial, pedicure and manicure in that order for $425. I have had over a dozen massages, but the others were my first. I had 2 providers: Lina who did the massage and facial and Melissa who did the pedicure and manicure.
I found the massage very disappointing. I asked for a relaxation massage and instead Lina was rough despite my asking her to use less pressure several times. I almost choked having to inhale the massage oil fumes 3 times. Maybe I should have chosen lavender oil. I honestly couldn’t wait for the massage to end. It was something to be endured. It wasn’t what I had asked for. 1 Star.
Lina segued into the facial. It was ok. My skin was very soft afterwards. That lasted for a couple of days. At first I was delighted that the bags under my eyes had disappeared, but in less than 30 minutes they were back. Possibly, the miracle was gravity as I was prone when I examined my face in the mirror.
A generous 4 stars.
By contrast, Melissa was beyond wonderful. She was concerned with my comfort throughout and did a spectacular job on my nails. They have never looked so good. I have received several compliments on them. My sole complaint was the nail polish was still a bit soft when I used the Ladies and two of my nails got scuffed.
5 Stars
The problem of the polish fully drying might have been resolved by having the manicure before the facial. Or maybe by using heated drying.
I will be back for Melissa’s magic.

When you sign up for a massage, you should let them know if you have been popping Advil like candy all week because your body hurts. If you think you MIGHT bruise easily, you should tell them that. You should take the medical form seriously. If you don’t, you may walk away pretty bruised up. That picture is my arm after my massage. Communication is key.
I still rate them 5 stars. I had a huge knot right there and she was trying to work it out. I never felt any pain at all. I was honestly shocked that I bruised up like that.
Anyway, the rest of my body felt great after she was done. My lower back was killing me when I came in and when she was done, it didn’t bother me the rest of my trip. She also helped me pick out some awesome facial products and numbered them for me. I think her name was Lina.
Another young lady did my facial. I’m so mad I can’t remember her name. Lovely girl with braids, soft spoken. I will see if they have a staff list online and maybe I can find out her name that way. Anyway, my face was bright red and inflamed. She took one look at my skin and knew exactly what I needed. I was also burning up and she hooked up a fan for me and decided to skip the hot stuff. She brought out some cold tools and it was heaven. The calm skin care line is out of this world. I brought some home. This stuff didn’t break my skin out, which is a miracle because most everything does.
I also want to say that as a bigger person with mobility issues, both of these ladies were very accommodating. I have metal plates, rods and screws in my body and they were gentle with those spots. I did have a nice experience here.
I guess I’m writing this as a review and a warning. You should be honest about ALL your medical issues, ALL the medications you are taking and lastly how much you have been drinking.
Lastly, it was a little embarrassing that no robes were available that fit me. If you are bigger than an XL, you may want to let them know in advance that you are plus size. That is what I would do next time.

I visit Rehoboth a few times a year. I have had massages, facials and pedicures. All were A+. I have also bought many items off their shelves and not one has disappointed me. Staff, services and all shelf items are worth my miles to Rehoboth and Avenue Apothecary. This is the only place I go to take care of me. Love it! I travel from Baltimore.
