All I wanted was a simple blow out with flat ironing at the end, not even a style. I check in and the two girls at the desk look at me and then the screen and then whisper something and then the stylist starts talking about me getting a silk press instead. I declined. The first stylist I had said she could do ethnic hair, no problem but come to find out, she couldn’t. It took way too long for her to do my hair to not even touch my roots. I couldn’t even run my fingers through my hair afterwards like I normally can after coming from my normal salon! I paid and tipped but was not happy with my service at all. Someone followed up with me later last night and scheduled me to come in for a redo today. Today I had Amanda do my hair and she did a fabulous job!! She rewashed, blow dried my hair and flat ironed it for real! I’ve since learned that Amanda and Brandy can be trusted with ethnic hair so those will be my go to stylists from now on. Sucks because I ended up paying more than normal for my hair with tips just to have to come back twice.
