  Disappointing experience at this location today. The store was nearly empty, yet the staff seemed completely disinterested in helping. One staff member looked directly at me and then looked away; when I finally asked for assistance, I was just passed off to someone else who gave minimal, dismissive answers. I was looking for specific recommendations for sensitive eyes and healthy ingredients, but I left feeling like I was bothering them just by being there.

  The Sephora on 14th Street is one of the less chaotic locations in the city, especially compared to the tourist crowds at Pentagon City and Georgetown. Friendly staff and the store layout is easy to navigate. It is my go-to for daily hair care and makeup products. The in-store high-end skincare selection is a bit limited—SK-II is one of the few luxury brands they stock in person. If you’re looking for high-end skincare products, you might prefer Bluemercury or products from your dermatologist, but for a stress-free Sephora trip, this is the best one in the area!

  I had such a great experience thanks to Ebony (I hope I got her name right!). She helped me find the right shade and walked me through multiple options so I could choose what worked best for me. She was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful, and she made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

  I decided to have a bit of a me day recently and decided that I was long overdue for a Sephora trip. I was looking for some skin care and was offered some suggestions from an employee who uses a specific product. I've been using the products routinely and my skin has been looking amazing! She also made sure I got some samples and was taken care of without having to wait in line. I'd definitely come here again.

  Evelyn is a lifesaver! I walked in with zero makeup knowledge and walked out feeling equipped for both an upcoming wedding I'm in and a new daily routine. Evelyn was incredibly patient and kind as she walked me through every step, teaching me how to apply everything and making sure I was happy with it. I wanted environmentally friendly products which was pretty limiting, but she did an amazing job of finding products that met my standards and worked for the look I wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend for anyone who's not sure where to start.
