I felt so beautiful on my special day :) She was also happy to talk about all the steps she was taking me through. She explained the products and why she was using them, and she asked for my feedback every step of the way. Highly recommend!

While the staff at the entrance who helped me pick up my order were polite, another employee in the store, around 5’4” with black long wavy hair and black thick-framed glasses, in her mid-to-late twenties, refused to give me a sample for other hair products and asked me to “prove” I was eligible, which felt humiliating and unprofessional. After confirming through Sephora’s AI chatbot that I was entitled to 3 samples, I went to another employee, a dark skin, gray short hair, 50ish yo woman, she gave me samples but raised her voice and accused me of being aggressive when I expressed frustration about how I had been treated. When I showed the first employee proof, she told me to just buy the product and return it if I didn’t like it. That mindset is wasteful, inconvenient, and environmentally irresponsible. The fact that this conversation even had to happen shows how poor the customer service was. I did not expect this kind of treatment from Sephora. I couldn’t believe I was treated like a freeloader just because I was undecided about products I genuinely wanted to purchase.

And the employees are following you every five seconds asking “do you need help” no exaggeration every time I turned around to a new aisle there’s an employee talking to me. I could not even shop. It was like a parody thriller movie.
