  Yesterday, I went in to get four piercings, and from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with kindness and warmth. I arrived a little early, which gave me time to ask questions, get a consultation, and receive helpful recommendations. After choosing my jewelry, Dominique—the piercer—came over. He was incredibly genuine, patient, and attentive. He listened to what I wanted, offered thoughtful guidance on jewelry and placement, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. The piercings themselves were done quickly and were far less painful than I expected. The studio was clean, and communication from the entire team was clear and transparent. I highly recommend this STUDS location. Huge kudos to Dominique and the rest of the staff for such a great experience.

  My experience was unsatisfactory mainly due to poor communication and lack of organization. When I arrived, I was told the piercer was on lunch, and I was asked to come back exactly at 3:30 pm. I arrived on time as requested, but once there, I was told I would have to wait even longer because other clients had appointments. The issue was not the wait itself, but the fact that my time was not respected and the situation was not clearly communicated from the beginning. The receptionist did not provide clear or helpful information, which resulted in unnecessary wasted time. With better communication and scheduling, the experience could improve, but unfortunately, this visit was disappointing.

  Should be zero stars. Avoid STUDS and go to a proper piercer in a tattoo shop (pssst there’s literally one across the street). This shop is barely a step above the mall piercing pagoda! They did use a needle rather than a gun. Both of my daughter’s piercings (conch and rook) are wrong and her rook jewelry was put in incorrectly TWICE. She tried to call but they don’t even have a direct phone line in the shop. NOW we’re at an appointment with a proper to fix the piercer’s mess. She reached out by email to request a refund and show the issue with the piercing and no one responded. Save yourself pain and aggravation and go across the street to the tattoo shop. Studs is Not. Worth. It.
