- DMDanielle MillettSep 23, 20252.0Shame on me for trying great clips again at another location. I had Rosalind who right off the bat i could tell we were going to have a language barrier. I bring in photos of exactly what i want, no alterations so we are on the same page on what I wanted. I showed this photo of what i wanted three times. She wanted to start off by cutting my bangs with are Uneven and not blended at all. I thought it was odd because bangs are usually the last thing most hairdressers cut. She also let me leave without blow dry or styling for even a few minutes. I get they are busy on the weekends but a few minutes would have made my experience a lot better. She also asked me if one side is what i wanted. Traditionally, that is asked when the entire haircut is completed, not just on one side since i couldn’t give an honest answer. It didn’t look like what i wanted because it was wet which makes layers longer than you expect. So i had to take a moment to look at it and she got irate with me asking what i had to think about. The whole experience was awful and now i have some unblended mullet on my head. I think I'm done with great clips. I don’t spend a lot on haircuts but it seems worth it to just go to a salon. At least i’ll get someone more experienced with cutting hair and valuing both our times.
