I haven’t stepped foot back in this location because of how rude their sales associates are. They made me feel uncomfortable, dumb, and like I simply didn’t belong. Though that sounds dramatic, I read a similar review and finally felt comfortable enough to share— knowing that this has happened to someone other than me. I went in early October and literally have not gone back because I do not want to run into the same associate. It sucks because I love Sephora and have been an avid customer.

Nio, as always, went above and beyond! He greeted me right away, knew what I was looking for without asking because he knows his clients, he got my stuff in a timely manner and cashed me out quickly! I will stick with this sephora! It’s my favorite one! Great staff!
I visited this Sephora in South Windsor, CT twice recently, and unfortunately I had poor experiences both times. On 10/11/25, I went to purchase something, and upon approaching the checkout counter the sales associate continued to engage in a personal conversation with another associate while ringing up my item. When the transaction was completed, the associate did not look me in the eye as she passed me my item. In hindsight, I wish I had waited to hand over my purchase until their conversation was finished, because sales associates should not be engaging in personal conversations while attending to customers. My second visit was on 10/17/25, when I hoped to receive samples of a couple of products. The first product I anticipated I might not be able to receive a sample of given the nature of the product, which I would have been completely fine with, but when I asked the sales associate they responded with an immediate and emotionless “No.” As someone who has worked in sales myself, I can say for certain that such a short and unsympathetic response was not appropriate at all. In that moment I felt myself vying to impress the sales associate, who seemed inconvenienced, when asking for the second sample. If this happens again, I will call out their rudeness as pleasantly as I can. I’m writing this review because most of my customer service interactions at this particular Sephora over the years have not been good at all, which is a shame because Sephora is one of my favorite stores. I believe the manager needs to gather together all the sales associates and ensure they understand the most important part of their job: making customers feel welcome, important, and cared for.

Ethan was so kind and very helpful. We were on our way to a funeral. I needed waterproof mascara. He helped me find one and got me checked out all in less than 10 minutes. ❤️

Nio was extremely helpful at suggesting a new skin base routine! He gave me some tips on how to use the products suggested and took time to listen to my concerns. Very professional and knowledgeable, i just used all the products i bought in the car and its everything i was looking for!
