- USUGURCAN SAHINAug 18, 20251.0I bought a perfume from Sephora, but I lost the spray part. I went back to a Sephora store and asked if they could help me. They said they couldn’t. At the very least, they could have offered a small travel spray so I could continue using the perfume. As a customer, this was a very bad experience and felt unsafe. I will never purchase any product from Sephora again.

I replied yes that I just needed back-stock checked for a cream that I had already confirmed was in stock online. She proceeded to tell that she’d tend to me once she was done with something else. (Why ask if I need help if you aren’t available to help me in that moment?) In addition, she gave me attitude and said that they likely didn’t have what I needed in stock because they have so much theft at their store. I worked in cosmetic sales for years and couldn’t imagine treating a customer with this kind of attitude. Will not be returning to this location.

She made me feel incredibly comfortable and genuinely cared for. Despite being the only associate on the floor, she seamlessly managed to acknowledge every customer who entered while still giving me her full attention. Mary’s knowledge and professionalism were truly impressive, and her ability to balance so much at once was remarkable. On a personal note, I’ve had a very difficult past year, and Mary’s warmth and positivity were a light I didn’t know I needed. She made me feel seen in a way that few people do. It’s clear that Mary takes immense pride in her work, and I believe she absolutely deserves recognition—whether it’s a bonus, a raise, or public acknowledgment. She’s an incredible human being, and I’m so grateful for the experience I had because of her. Thank you, Mary, for going above and beyond. You are truly one of a kind!
