  Had the absolute best time getting my hair done with Carissa. I have very curly hair and have had keratin done a few times in the past but this experience was by far unmatched. Carissa was bubbly, sweet and VERY informative. She made me feel at ease the second I stepped in the door. My hair looks FANTASTIC and I am so excited to show it off. It’s evident Carissa knows what she is doing and she was incredibly knowledgeable with not just keratin but all things hair. 1000000/10 will be returning for all my future hair care needs. Thank you for making me feel beautiful!

  We had such a positive experience at this salon with my daughter’s curly hair. The staff was incredibly friendly and clearly very experienced with curls. Kent did an amazing job! He took the time to work with her hair properly and the end result looked great. We were also grateful that they were able to fit her into their schedule so easily. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a salon that truly understands curly hair.

  I travel 2 and a half hours round trip to visit this salon a few times a year. My friends were alarmed when I declared I was getting a perm done but this place has a version of perm that is less damaging to the hair and they do a beautiful job with it! The owners are very kind, approachable and down to earth. They are committed to continually perfecting their craft, are passionate about educating their team to grow and wonderful deserving people of your interest!

  I am absolutely obsessed with my hair after seeing Nick at Latherhouse in Belmar. From start to finish, the experience was incredible. Nick is beyond talented and makes you feel completely confident and cared for the entire time. My haircut is stunning, and his work with extensions is next level. The blend is flawless, the placement is perfect, and my hair looks natural, healthy, and beautiful. I walked out feeling genuinely happy, confident, and like the best version of myself. I cannot recommend Nick enough. If you are even thinking about extensions or want someone you can fully trust with your hair, stop looking and book with him. He is truly exceptional, and I will be recommending him to everyone I know.

  If I could give negative stars I would. I walked out of there crying with choppy hair and it’s not what I wanted at all. I made sure I showed pictures and talked to Nick the whole time to make sure he understood what I wanted. He completely ruined my hair and was upset and let us leave. As if he had something to be upset about! My hair is long or was long and he completely ruined it. He was shaking the whole time and rough with me and looked like he was trying to rush through my hair. He kept leaving and coming back and dropping tools constantly and using them on my hair. This is ridiculous. The way I was treated and the service I got I’m beyond upset. He laughed and said the good thing is, is that it will grow back. As if it made it better that I have to walk around like this
