- MDMeghan DinaNov 9, 20251.0I literally just had this experience; I should have just stood up and walked out of the store after sitting down in the chair with the woman that was “helping” me. Absolutely horrific experience. I don’t ever do anything fancy or complicated with my hair; I went in to take off dead ends with the intent of keeping as much length as possible… that’s it. I tried to explain my hair was a mess as it was unwashed and had product in it. She cut me off. I then tried to explain that I had long, overdirected layers so she knew. Apparently that made zero sense, as I was asked several times directly after whether I wanted layers and how much I wanted taken off? She then asked again what I came in for, to which I repeated, just getting rid of what’s dead and that I wanted to keep whatever length was healthy. She was very rough brushing through my hair, and I’m not sure how she didn’t see my visible wincing. I wish I would have just gotten up and walked out right then and there. She asked me for a third or fourth time how much I wanted taken off… again, just what’s dead… you get the gist. I am usually extremely patient but this was wild. I paid $26 for 5 minutes of miscommunication and a likely botched trim that wasn’t at all what I came in for. I didn’t even want her to finish the entire job. I did not tip and I have half a mind to dispute this charge on my credit card. What the actual hell?
