  Please don’t make the same mistake I did by coming to JC penny hair salon. I made an appointment online with Isabel based on her little description box that says she specializes in "bayalage" she completely messed up my hair 2 TIMES. At the first appt before she took me on, i explained to her that i had black hair dye in my hair. she knew and still told me the balayage could be done. She bleached my hair. Told me it lifted to a 7/8 on the hair scale. Then she over toned my hair and said she let the toner sit too long. So the bleach was basically for nothing. She knew i was unhappy and told me to give it a week to wash out. i paid $260 dollars. Asking me to wait a week for results is Crazy. I go back a second time because she guaranteed me her work. The second time i go, she is way less professional making racist comments and just making me uncomfortable telling me she should be charging me for this visit but that she wouldn't because she guaranteed me her work. I also felt she was a little more harsh when pulling out foils. She didn't charge me for the visit but she did charge me for an olaplex I didn't even ask for. At this point its an extra 55 because the Olaplex was an extra $35 i also tipped another $20 for her time. A day later is when i realized what an awful job she did . She left bands/ stripes in my hair at the roots. I go back a 3rd time and see the manager Tonya and tell her i would like my money back to which she agrees. I told her about the emotional distress this has caused me. She offers to tone the brass out of my hair and I let her because i had a family event the following day. Prior to leaving, i ask about my full refund which she says is now off the table Because she "fixed" my hair. The manager told me to go home and fully check my hair and if i'm still unsatisfied to call her back for a partial refund which i think is unacceptable. I have had to come back 3 times, i am out 300 dollars and Still don't have the balayage i was told i would get. as you can see from my last picture, my hair is still a HOT HOT MESS. so thanks for nothing isabel. if you couldn't do the job, you should have just said that and saved me the time, Stress And Money. Here are the pictures of what i wanted VS what i got. EDIT * also want to add , that although they have that automated response, i reached out and they don't really offer any help. Do your research and find a better salon.

  Literally the worst haircut I've ever gotten. Regardless of showing Pat pictures she gave me what SHE wanted and not what I asked. I booked an appointment with her for her experience but that means nothing if I'm unwilling to get what I want.

  What an experienced staff please if you dont know what the customer is asking for dont mess up with ladies hair. Really disappointed witb the service they did for my wife hair. Please peope find another place better than having headache in this place
