She loudly scolded a customer for not being clear he wanted it shorter “You should have said that when we started.” She then did the head shove from the back and just ordered, “look down.” I told them they could take me off the waitlist, and walked out. I went to the location on Iliff & Peoria. No waiting. Linda cut my hair exactly to spec per the styling instructions on file for me. And, when I asked for a little extra thinning on top, she very carefully thinned it a bit as well. The best part was the conversation with her and the other stylist as well. We chatted the whole time and it was very pleasant. Both very friendly, personable people.
- RARegi AichlmayrNov 25, 20253.0Great Clips is designed to be a fast turnover. I was told by my “stylist” that they are supposed to get you in, give a cut, and have you out in 20 minutes. I went in yesterday for a cut and style. There is no place on the check-in app to say what services you want so they can estimate the time needed. She also didn’t ask. It was also my fault for not stating I wanted a dry cut and style. I showed her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like. She cut my hair very well but then proceeded to spray it with water which made it frizz up. Then she blew it dry and brush rolled and then took the cape off and said done. Told her I couldn’t go home looking like that (flat hair flying saucer). I told her no, I want it curled like the picture. She told me it would be $40 more to style my hair and then proceeded to scold me for wanting the time. She finally got it curled with a curling iron and it looks very good. I gave her a 25 percent tip for the extra time even though she made me feel less than. I won’t be back. I need to find a place where the stylist isn’t hyperventilating about not getting her $75-80 per hour. I need to feel respected and relaxed.
