The Himalayan Hot Stone 80 Min massage is my favorite and my masseuse Luz was very skilled and knew exactly how and when to incorporate the hot stones. From a cumbersome online booking experience so confusing I had to call the spa to walk me through it (including booking my appointments with me on the phone), to a checkout where I was quoted a total almost $200 over what I was advertised online - and the front desk staff had to talk to the manager to both get permission to correct and instructions how to make said corrections in the system - this has to be one of the worst booking systems I’ve ever experienced. What made it even more frustrating was that from the time I made my booking on the phone to the time I checked out, the massage style I booked was somehow changed - during the massage I just assumed the masseuse had a different style than what I was used to; nope, it was an entirely different style than what I’d booked! Not sure if that was human or system error.

I asked for a swedish massage with light pressure just to get my blood moving around. She listened to what I needed and gave me the most amazing massage I've ever had. When I left my body felt so much better. I will be rebooking with her again very shortly. The staff at the front desk was also very kind and the Spa itself was very clean and relaxing. It was a wonderful experience.

They just found another couple and bumped them up instead of giving us the priority. Poor communication poor service. We had arranged childcare for the particular day. They don’t care about clients. I will never recommend this horrible place to anyone. Massages should be stress free. These people will give you stress. Terrible service. Reeks of entitlement, racism, bad communication and discrimination.

I used to go to a spa/massage place closer to my home, but came across this place while searching for a Spa day with my Boss for employee appreciation. They definitely know what they're doing there. They made the whole experience a day I will never forget. We started out with getting changed into our robes and sandals. (Sandals aren't that comfy, luckily I brought my slippers) we got water from the hospitality station and went straight into the sauna. From there, we had a 80 minute massage of my choice. The massage therapist worked her magic and was amazing at pressure. I'm sensitive in a couple areas and she took note and aced it. After that, had a minute to go back to hospitality and had a multiple choice of tea (I chose raspberry nector 👌) and some mixed nuts to hold me over the next 3 minutes of waiting for my next treatment. Then, went to a quiet room to soak in a tub where it was so serene and peaceful. They even had little snacks to enjoy while in the tub. After that, went back to hospitality station for a couple minutes then was brought back for a nourishing wrap (my skin is so soft now thanks to them). After that, we were taken into a private room to have lunch, provided by Woodhouse. After lunch, we were taken back for our facials. The facials were phenomenal. The whole experience was phenomenal and I will be back! A whole day at the spa and treated with kindness and professionalism and care. Thank you again for this amazing experience! 10 out of 5!

Spa Reservations
To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is required to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Spa Group Reservations
For group reservations of four or more guests (up to a maximum of 6), we require confirmation at least 24 hours PER appointment (i.e. 48 hours for two reservations, 72 hours for three). If confirmation is not received within this time frame, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
Spa Arrivals
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow time to check-in and change into a robe. Please note that our doors open at 9:30 am everyday and 8:30 am on Saturdays. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged.
Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications).
We recommend that valuable items be left at home. Woodhouse Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Please note that our spa is a cell phone/tech free zone. We appreciate your respect for this tranquil environment.
Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling
24-hour advance notice is required to cancel or reschedule a single reservation. 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations within 24-hours will be charged 100% of the value of each treatment missed. Any cancellations within 4 hours, as well as all no-shows, will result in a full charge. The full value of the service(s) will be charged on the second occurrence.
Spa Age Requirements
Woodhouse Spa - Walnut Creek accepts guests 18 years old and above. Only guests receiving services are permitted into the spa.
Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards
Payments are accepted in the form of cash, all major credit cards and the Woodhouse Spa gift cards.
Woodhouse Spa gift cards may be used to purchase products and services at face value. This card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at time of purchase. Prices vary by spa location and are subject to change without notice. Spa locations are individually owned franchises solely responsible for any and all gift card liabilities at their respective locations. Redemption of this card is subject to certain restrictions and expirations set by each spa location or state regulation. Should this card be redeemed at another location, the card will be redeemed at face value. Woodhouse Spa gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. This card is not transferable and Woodhouse Spa is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply. Series of services are not refundable, but can be converted to spa credit.
Gratuities are not included in the price of the service and are at the discretion of the guest.
Spa Products and Returns
In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.

Woodhouse Spa - Walnut Creek is located on the corner of Cypress St. and N. California Blvd. between Premier Bath & Kitchen and Extreme Pizza.
Parking:
The Lesher Center garage (1625 Locust St.) is free for the 1st hour and $1.25 / hour after. The garage does not offer a validation program.
The lot behind Extreme Pizza (1630 Cypress St.) is $2.50 / hour, 9 am - 11 pm, no time limit
Green meters are $2 / hour, 10 am - 8 pm, 3-hour time limit
Purple meters are $1 / hour, 10 am - 8 pm, 10-hour time limit

Congratulations! We recommend our Soothe & Hydrate Facial, which our estheticians can customize to your needs. We do not offer HydraFacial to any guests pregnant or breastfeeding.
HydraFacial
We cannot perform HydraFacial on any guests with the following:
-Pregnant or breastfeeding
-Have had Botox/filler within 2 weeks
-Used Accutane in the last year
No Infrared Sauna can be booked in conjunction with any HydraFacial.
We ask that you discontinue any retinol products 3-5 days prior to your appointment.
Sauna Contraindications
Individuals using prescription medications (such as diuretics, barbiturates, beta-blockers, or antihistamines) should consult their doctor before using the sauna, as certain medications can affect the body’s ability to regulate heat. Children require pediatric approval, and older adults should use caution due to decreased temperature-regulation abilities. Those with cardiovascular conditions, including high or low blood pressure, congestive heart failure, or impaired circulation, should seek medical clearance since heat exposure can significantly increase heart rate. The sauna should not be used after consuming alcohol or by individuals with conditions that impair sweating, such as Multiple Sclerosis, central nervous system tumors, or diabetic neuropathy. Anyone prone to bleeding, including hemophiliacs, should avoid use, and individuals with a fever or heat insensitivity should not enter the sauna. Pregnant individuals must consult a physician, and those menstruating may experience increased flow and should participate based on personal comfort. The sauna should also be avoided on acute injuries within the first 48 hours or when swelling, heat, or infection is present. Individuals with metal or silicone implants should consult their surgeon before use and discontinue if any discomfort occurs.
Red Light Booth Contraindications
Individuals should avoid using the Red Light Booth if they have diseases involving the retina, such as diabetic retinopathy, or if they are taking photosensitizing medications including lithium, melatonin, phenothiazines, antipsychotics, or certain antibiotics. The booth should not be used during pregnancy, by individuals with epilepsy, or by those currently taking cortisone injections or steroids. Red Light Therapy should not be applied directly over the thyroid in certain thyroid conditions, and it should not be used on areas with active bleeding or hemorrhage due to the increased circulation response. Halotherapy is also not recommended for individuals with tuberculosis, fever, contagious conditions, severe heart disorders, cancer, advanced pregnancy, or during an acute respiratory attack. Salt therapy is not a substitute for medical care, and individuals should always consult their healthcare provider with any concerns.

To ensure fairness and consistency for all guests, discounts, promotional offers, and discounted gift certificates cannot be combined.
When a gift certificate is purchased at a discounted price, it cannot be applied toward a discounted service or combined with any additional promotions. These gift certificates are intended to be redeemed at standard service and product rates.
