  I’ve been on full-time mommy duty for the past two years, and now that I’m getting back into work and working out, I really wanted to start taking care of myself again. I wasn’t able to reconnect with my old stylist, so I booked with Melissa at Changes Salon in Walnut Creek. She has my absolute highest praise. I was honestly blown away by how fast and efficiently she worked. On top of that, she was just genuinely a joy to talk to the entire time. I have very tight 4C hair, and I love my curls. They’re how I gauge the health of my hair. I’ve had keratin treatments before that felt more like relaxers, where my hair ended up straight and stringy, so I was a little nervous. Melissa took the time during the consultation to explain the treatment she recommended and even showed me the product she’d be using. She absolutely delivered. My hair feels healthy, my curls are still intact (post-treatment pics attached), and it’s so much easier to manage now, whether I’m doing a wash-and-go or blowing it out myself. I also want to mention how incredible the salon itself is. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, warm, and welcoming (not just to me, but to each other and towards every client). At the end of my service, Bri (the manager) and Melissa even let me have a tour of the spa, and I was genuinely blown away. It’s such a peaceful, zen space that you wouldn't expect to find tucked away in downtown Walnut Creek. There’s even an outdoor garden where you can relax. Can’t recommend Changes enough 💗.

  With age, my wife’s hair began to thin, making it difficult to achieve the desired style. However, her day shined bright when she visited Venus at Changes, a renowned hair stylist and educator. Venus provided her with a transformative makeover, resulting in a vibrant and radiant new look. Her friends couldn’t help but notice the significant age difference, remarking that she appears at least 10 years younger. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  WOW - if you’re looking for an unbelievable massage therapist who listens and truly customizes the experience to meet your needs, Abby is it! Abby is extremely knowledgeable about the body and clearly takes pride in helping people find relief and relaxation through massage. I had a host of physical aches and pains that needed attention and she addressed each one in a way that provided lasting relief. Thank you, Abby!

  Very disappointing! I am expecting a full body massage but its not what i expected to be and the therapist just gave me a mild pressure. I dont feel any better afterall. . And the receptionist did not even informed me that she assigned a male therapist for me. The service is not worth the pay.

  I'm new to Changes and have been getting facials from Lupe. The minute you walk into the salon it feels good. The reception staff are very helpful and nice. You definitely have the Spa feeling once you change into a comfortable robe and slippers. I would highly recommend Changes to anyone.
