  This massage is very good. My wife and I have been there many times. They are very enthusiastic and the massage technique is also very good. We will go there often in the future!

  I went to Happy Massage (edited after verifying location) in Turlock a few weeks ago with my son, and we decided to try the foot massage. We were pleasantly surprised when they did much more than just our feet—it was a nice massage overall and definitely worth the price. The only downsides that first time were that the room felt very hot and there was a communication barrier since no one spoke English. But despite that, we enjoyed it enough that I decided to go back yesterday with my fiancé. This time, unfortunately, the experience was very different. They handed us sheets to check off what type of massage we wanted, since they can’t explain things verbally. We chose the full-body massage and were placed in a couple’s room. Right away we were put off because the sheets seemed dirty, almost as if they hadn’t been washed, and they used paper towels instead of proper face protectors. Through the face hole in the massage bed, I also noticed that the floors were not clean. On top of that, the room was extremely hot, making it hard to relax. The massage itself was not good. My therapist was extremely rough, even after I repeatedly asked her to go lighter. I left feeling more tense than when I walked in, and I actually woke up this morning with a bruise on my hip from how hard she pressed. My fiancé’s experience wasn’t any better—his therapist was literally on her knees and elbows on his back, pressing into his bones instead of the muscles, which left him in pain. Overall, we left feeling beat up instead of relaxed. We get massages often, so we know what a good experience should feel like, and this was not it. Between the lack of cleanliness, the extreme roughness, the uncomfortable temperature, and the inability to communicate concerns due to the language barrier, I can’t recommend this place for a full-body massage. If you don’t speak the language, it’s especially difficult. Sadly, this was not worth the money (over $100) and was a very unpleasant experience.

  got a 30 minute full body massage and before leaving the man at the front desk was demanding that we needed to tip after we had already left the tip on the table…should not demand a tip from customers.
