  I will never understand why people work in the service industry but are condescending. The associate working today, I did not get his name but he had long hair and was extremely rude, making comments because I had a sniffle (I had allergies). I was not touching him or too close to him, so I do not understand his issue with me. When I was walking away after paying, I heard him make more comments, at that point I turned around and said "what is wrong with you?" I was so upset because I cannot stand condescending people. I do not understand why people think it is okay to act like that and make others feel bad Never again, will I return to Sephora

  Rude, condescending and accusatory. I purchased makeup at the Redondo location yesterday. Opened my products last night, 3 of which I received damaged. Today, I went to the Torrance location to do a return and an exchange of the 3 items because I was on this side of town. Instead of being supportive and helpful, the two behind the counter were making snarky condescending comments like "oh that's weird" "that's why we tell people to not purchase from different receipts???" Are you kidding me??? Both were not professional and their demeanor was extremely offensive!! Insinuating that I damaged the items or was lying!! What kind of customer service is that?? I felt horrible leaving the store!! Plus the two were incompetent trying to figure out why the item she was scanning on my receipt!! It was not scanning because the lady pulled the wrong shade to exchange so the system was not matching the items!!! DUHH!! And to make matters worse, during the whole process they were making these condescending blameful comments. This was not professional, impatient, not courteous, proactive or understanding of the problem. Then the lady tried to blow it off like, "oh sometimes I need to wear glasses" to blow off that she made the error!! SMH!! The fact that I had to use my gas to come back and exchange damaged items coupled with horrible attitudes is beyond comprehension!! If you don't know how to provide customer service or deal with the public, then get another job or train these people to DO BETTER!!! Blaming me, accusing me was not ok!!! Then calling the store manager to make her realize her mistake!!! She was scanning the wrong item!!! SMH I WILL NOT COME BACK TO THIS SEPHORA!! THEY NEED TRAINING AND TO LEARN TO RESPECT PEOPLE'S WORD!!
