  Went for a cut and loved it till I got out to my car and ran my hands through it and ended up with every piece of hair she cut on my car seats. She never combed the cut hair at all. I was wondering why there was hardly any hair under my chair.

  Update: I was contacted by a general manager after this visit, and I really appreciated the follow-up. They were apologetic, took my concerns seriously, and offered for us to come back and try again. It felt like my feedback was genuinely heard, and that steps are being taken to improve the overall customer experience. Because of the strong customer service and how this was handled, I’ve added a star to my review. I also want to add that I don’t fault the stylist who nicked my child—my kids are young and don’t always sit still, and it was clearly not intentional. She was patient and kind throughout, I would still feel comfortable bringing my kids back to her. ---- Original review: 2-stars I took my sons to Great Clips this past weekend. One stylist was very patient, kind and engaging with my child, which I really appreciated—however, he did end up getting nicked behind the ear during the cut. I understand kids can be unpredictable, but it was still concerning. For my other son, I asked for a simple style: keeping length on the top and back, with the sides cleaned up using clippers (basically a light taper/modern mullet shape). Instead, the stylist seemed very dismissive of what I was asking for, told me it would “look bad” and that he would “look bald,” even though wasn’t requesting anything extreme—just a basic clipper clean-up on the sides. It felt like there wasn’t an effort to listen or work with the request. She also seemed quite disengaged, was very rushed, barely trimmed his hair, and still charged full price. In the moment, I probably could have spoken up more or pushed back, but I honestly didn’t have it in me to argue with someone who didn’t seem open to listening, so we just paid and left. I understand kids’ haircuts can be tricky, but I do think there should be more consistency in listening to parents, communicating clearly, and making sure the experience is comfortable and safe for kids.
