- NNNoCareMar 15, 20251.0I recently visited this location and was deeply disappointed by the treatment I experienced. Everything was going well until a man, who seemed to be a manager or supervisor, approached me. His behavior was treating me unfairly compared to others. Instead of providing helpful service, he was dismissive and unprofessional, making me feel unwelcome. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from a brand that promotes inclusivity and diversity. I hope Sephora takes immediate action to address such issues through better training and accountability. No one should ever feel unwelcome while shopping.

I understand majority of customers who shop at Sephora’s in Seal Beach are not African American yet if it’s one person of color that’s enough to treat us with equality and respect. You intentionally vet and hire employees that represent your values, integrity, goals and objectives yet you disguise your racism with your pretentious diversity narrative. I hope this message is read by all your consumers and Brands that have a shelf in your brick and mortar or corner of a space that you rent in a larger department store. The people need to rally together and cancel stores like Sephora!

Honestly this was the first time I've ever came into a SEHORA store and actually feel comfortable, usually I'm getting followed around or harassed because I carry a small backpack as my purse. I felt welcomed and most of all I felt trusted. So then I decided to put my trust in Jessica and she hooked me up with my perfect foundation match not only that she taught me the difference between different shades and how the warm to your skin. How cool was that. She even updated me on my points, I was able to pick a few free items. I had a wonderful experience ☺️ and It's a shame I have to drive from the city of Compton to Seal Beach to receive fanominal customer service. Thanks for everything.
