  The person who usually cuts my hair at the barbershop is out on a medical emergency for the next several weeks, so I thought I would try this place out since it is right in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, JCP Salon is apparently rather limited with the haircut services they can offer men. None of the stylists there that day, for instance, knew how to do a fade with a 0 guard (or just did not want to do it). That's fine, but they should mention it over the phone when guys call to make an appointment, rather than doing so when the client is already sitting in the chair. The haircut I did ultimately get was fine enough (a 1 guard fade into a 2), and the person who cut it was pleasant and puts genuine care into her work, but since it was not what I wanted, and no one there "felt comfortable" cutting it the way I asked, I will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out. Gentlemen, try your luck here if you like but be ready to follow up at the barber shop within a couple of weeks.

  super awesome, daniela was my stylist and she is so so sweet and so talented, I definitely recommend going to her services!

  Horrible experience yesterday. Hairstylist was rude. She did not understand what my son wanted a low fade. She cut his hair from his ear to the top of his head to his Temple. Shape of a triangle on both sides. We asked her if she was able to do it and she said yes. She did let us know this is a Barber's haircut understand. After the service came home and check my son hair. She went to high. Went back trying to get a refund got mad and walk out be for talking to a manager. Took my son to another place got his hair fix best as they can. The way she handled the situation she was just blaming my son. She said he ask for it high she said . That is not true. When she could have told us she wasn't comfortable doing his hair. Easy as that. No one has money to just give away. The hair stylist was rude when I asked for a refund said it's just $14. JCPenney please do better. Please don't have her working with kids .

  Went with Daniela and she’s really good at what she does:)!! As i got my hair done, I looked around at the other hair stylists as well and seeing them do amazing work as well! The environment is so good. I definitely recommend coming to Jcpenney salon.
