- APAlana pNov 13, 20255.0I went in for a haircut on Nov 9, 2025... Sunday Evening. I have very long curly/wavy hair and I was very very nervous. Katie approached me at the counter and greeted me . I told her what I was looking for in a haircut ( trim) I also told her I was scared and not wanting to loose my long hair length. She listened to all my concerns and asked me questions about what I was wanting in my haircut. I was so comfortable with her being a curly hair girl herself because it's just a different type of hair to deal with and she understood completely! Long story short, she gave me long layers, showed me what she was going to cut off before she cut it!! Took off my split ends as well. She only had to cut off about 2 inches maybe 3. This is honestly the best haircut ever! My hair on the end is popping with curls instead of dead frizzy ends!! I can get a hairbrush through it now like a knife through butter! She even recommended some really nice hair product for my curls that she uses for herself. I went out and bought it that same night. I couldn't be more happier with this haircut!! 🙂 I hope Katie's boss sees this because she deserves a raise for putting her guests first and giving superb service!! Thank you so much Katie! Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
