  First time at studs. Ileana, our piercer, was amazing! She was super personable, fast, knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy her job. the front desk team was also great. Thank you, Ileana.

  Hi, I usually don’t write reviews but i thought of share my experience. I recently visited this store for ear piercings and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. From the beginning, there was very little communication about the process or the pricing. I was simply asked what service I wanted and then taken inside without any explanation of what to expect. At no point was I told that the piercing would be done with a needle rather than a piercing gun, which would have been important information to know beforehand. The biggest issue came when it was time to pay. When we asked for both ears to be pierced and were told the rings were $95, we reasonably assumed that meant $95 for the pair. Instead, we were charged $95 per ring, something that was never clarified upfront. It felt misleading and left us shocked at the final bill. I ended up paying $260. In August my kid got her piercing in the same mall for $80 which is so reasonable. Overall, the lack of transparency and poor customer communication made the experience feel deceptive. Clear pricing and proper explanation of the procedure would have made a huge difference. I hope the store improves how they interact with customers so others don’t leave feeling the same way.

  My sister-in-law and I went to Studs first thing in the morning to avoid the holiday crowds, and we had such a great experience. The manager greeted us right away and walked us through the entire process — jewelry options, paperwork, and what to expect — which made everything feel easy and stress-free. We then met our piercer, who helped thoughtfully with placement, and when it was time for the actual piercings, Ileana was incredible. She was kind, warm, and genuinely funny, which helped calm any nerves. The whole experience felt professional but also very personal. I can’t wait to go back to get smaller, fitted earrings — and honestly, probably a few more piercings. Highly recommend!

  I recently visited STUDS intending to purchase a pair of earrings as a gift for a friend, which I clearly communicated to the staff. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. There was only one staff on duty that night, and the staff didn't take the time to show me what was in stock, offer recommendations, nor provide any guidance. Despite reiterating that the earrings were for someone else, the staff proceeded to open all the packages without informing me of the return policy - which I later learned is essentially nonexistent. While the signage and website suggest returns are possible, I was refused a return a week later and told that none of the titanium earrings are refundable. Had this been disclosed upfront, I would have reconsidered the purchase. Overall, the information provided was misleading, the products are overpriced for the level of service, and the staff on duty appeared uninterested in helping. I won’t be returning and would encourage others to review the policies carefully before purchasing.
