I wasn’t wearing makeup or dressed up, and I felt quietly judged and dismissed. The checkout was cold—no greeting, no account confirmation. I returned moments later because I had picked up the wrong product for my husband. Even though I returned the item just seconds after purchase and hadn’t opened or used it, the associate proceeded to spin and inspect the bottle repeatedly in front of me, as if doubting my honesty — which felt unnecessary and disrespectful.
