    Such a pleasant experience at this Sephora! Friendly staff and great selection of items. If it’s not in stock, they’re willing to help you order! It is located up some lofty steps and parking can be hard to come by, but with the amount of stores nearby, it’s worth a trip to visit multiple stores! Would definitely recommend this location for your Sephora shopping needs!

    I don’t believe in writing reviews unless your experience truly warrants a review and I feel like this large corporations get by because of their big money with no regard for customer service. I worked retail for 20 years in big box stores so none of that “you don’t know what it’s like”— not only do I buy I own my own business as well and also deal with customers daily. Sunday (yesterday) I came in to purchase my normal perfume but couldn’t recall if I purchased the regular Chanel Eau de Parfum or the intense bottle- the lady (nice enough yesterday) told me not to worry if I bought the wrong one I could return it. Of course I bought the wrong one, lol. Armed with the totally unopened bottle and my receipt I drove back to SLO from Paso and walked in to Sephora where there are more employees (Monday) than customers. Someone at door greets me and I explain and she says “Ken (?!?!) will help you” points to a guy who then tells someone else to help me. Then that gal gets someone else to help me— we are on four people now for a quick product swap of perfume. Then I need to be rung up and it’s minimal difference so I say “cash” “well then you need to go to the register” oh… I’ll just pay with my card, then. My card doesn’t tap (but taps everywhere else) so she sighs clearly annoyed and says “does your card have tap?” Yes it does and I just used it at Anthropologie. “Well, we need to go to the register then” ugh. So I just give her the cash which she then proceeds to get short when she sees my pull from my purse, “you’ll need to put your number in again” like this is all my fault— I do and she just hands me my change and receipt and walked away. Obviously customer service was lost on me- I may not be your target customer Sephora but my perfume is over $200 and I have 3 daughters that I shop for every holiday, every birthday— every special event. I think I’ll stick with Ulta and find a new spot to get my Chanel Perfume.

    The sales lady was super helpful and helped us trial some of the makeup! We had a super great experience and will be definitely be returning!
