- SRSam RosewallApr 8, 20261.0Came in 30 minutes before closing, the lady working didn't even bother to sweep up the hair of the previous person, just told me to take a seat. Then she locked the door, which is fine, but next several cameras inside with bright spotlights kept glaring at me in the mirror, and to make things worse the lady cutting my hair didn't want to bother with scissors or precision so she proceeded to use a flat shaver to do my entire hair cut. With a comb to separate here and there. At first I thought 🤔 ok maybe she's a barber style I'll see how this goes, but then I noticed that she was cutting my 2.5" of hair with a shaver when I asked to take half off. She's trying to do a balancing act with her flat shaver at approximately an inch but at the speed of someone who's trying to mow the lawn as fast as possible. She did my hard part and then proceeded to fade the hair on the other side of the hard part. I can't make this stuff up. It's bad, then she tried to cut my bangs combed forward when I clearly can't in with a slick back hair style and you know not to cut bangs on hair styles that go backward, I literally had to raise my arm to stop her and slow her down. Honestly very stressful, I still tipped 😣 cuz I feel to bad not to in case they were having a bad day, but I definitely would never return to this one. Worst experience I've ever received at a Great Clips by far.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
