  Beauty Services: The staff was friendly when I walked in and throughout my time there but if you’re looking to have some sort of beauty service I would suggest going elsewhere. I’ve had my make up done previously at the Santee location and it was fine but this was a terrible experience. My artist was on lunch when I arrived which is understandable but I had booked my appointment a week prior, this should have been a sign of the lack of time management skills. She talked the entire time and kept loosing focus, she also started a timer as soon as I sat down but had nothing ready and pulled out dirty trays and brushes she then cleaned. She spent about 45 mins of the 60 mins doing my eyeshadow, I had scheduled a full face make up not a focus on the eyes. She put a foundation that was too light and hadn’t even bothered trying it on a small section of skin more than likely because she was rushing. I had a schedule to follow and since she was late she started going over my time and was rushing. I ended up going home and being late to my even as I had to redo my foundation, apply blush, apply brow powder and lip tint. I’m also pretty sure she used some eyeshadows without sanitizing them.

  Every time I've been here, staff are really rude and unhelpful. Even though this was my closest Sephora, I would drive extra 10 minutes away to avoid it, so I didn't have to deal with the headache. Don't know if she still works there, but the Asian girl at the front needs retraining or just isn't a good fit for customer service. Also, the store is not stocked well and just has bad energy. Even the UTC location is slightly better which is saying a lot.

  had a really disappointing experience at Sephora recently that has left me questioning whether I’ll ever shop there again. I went in to exchange an item I had just picked up in-store from an online order, and instead of a smooth transaction, I was met with unnecessary attitude and resistance from the cashier. I explained that I wanted to return the original item and purchase a different brand/shade instead. She immediately insisted on processing it as an exchange, which, as many Sephora customers know, means if the new product doesn’t work out, you’re only eligible for store credit—not a refund. That’s a frustrating policy in itself, but I made it clear I preferred a return and separate purchase so I wouldn’t be stuck with store credit. She then claimed she couldn’t process it as a return without a receipt, even after I told her I’d purchased it online and had just picked it up. When I showed her the receipt, she still seemed reluctant to help and clearly just didn’t want to go through the hassle of two separate transactions. What’s worse—there wasn’t a single other customer in the store. There was no rush, no line—just me and an employee who didn’t want to do her job. I’ve never had an issue like this at Ulta. Their customer service is always warm, helpful, and focused on making the customer happy. Maybe Sephora should consider sending their staff there for customer service training. This experience was enough for me. I won’t be shopping at this Sephora again.

  Walked in where 3 employees were chatting amongst themselves and I had to interrupt them to ask for help. They weren’t friendly or obliging, almost annoyed that I asked for help, for a particular brow pencil. I’ve been to other Sephora shops with way better service. Last time I’ll be going to this one!
