Customer service is awful. Avoid this location. Girl working the front tonight 9/11 was rude and condescending. She should stay in the back stocking shelves.

I like coming to this store because they have a big variety of products and it's not as full as the stores in the mall but last weekend I asked for a sample of a foundation to make sure it's the right shade for me and today I opened it and this is how much they gave me. I'm so disappointed.

LILITH. I hope both sides of your pillow are always cool. My face has not looked this good in years. Thank you for doing the best color match for my foundation. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 I can’t remember the name of the girl who helped me pick this lip color, but you are also a treasure. Thank you!

I dropped by this store today after my daily walk around Liberty Station, a place I am very fond of and enjoy visiting. Unfortunately, this particular Sephora did not endear me to it. While browsing foundation shades, I was looked at with disgust by one of the store's employees when she entered the floor from the back room. After looking at me like I shocked/appalled her, she turned to another customer nearby, warmly greeted her, and asked how she could help her. I proceeded to look for a foundation that might match me and clearly could have used some recommendations/help. Multiple other workers ignored me and didn't ask if I needed anything - presumably because I didn't look like the "right" clientele to bother helping. There definitely seemed to be an appearance-based bias for their treatment; the other customer who was helped was tan, fit, and had makeup on. I entered the store in a hat, with no makeup on. I'm pretty pale and look a bit younger in person than my actual age. It's possible they mistook me (a woman in her 20s) for a minor, but I've been treated much better as a minor when I've visited other Sephora locations. And regardless, you don't deliberately gawk at and ignore a customer, no matter how little you think they fit your idea of beauty. I left the store without purchasing anything and will never visit this store again. I have never been treated with such disregard at an establishment and am not interested in repeating the experience. Hopefully this business will start being more inclusive and respectful. It would be nice to see in a state that so often fixates on a narrow definition of beauty.
