- AKAnthony KOct 29, 20251.0My girlfriend and I frequently come to this salon she’s actually been a loyal customer for over four years. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review until now, and it’s not about the service itself, but rather the behavior I witnessed during our last visit. What I assume was the manager was loudly yelling the F-word at her employees in the hair area. It was uncomfortable to watch and incredibly unprofessional, especially in front of clients. Beyond that, her tone toward her staff was rude and demeaning there’s a way to correct mistakes without belittling people. On top of that, my girlfriend and I couldn’t help but feel disrespected by the same individual. I don’t like to bring race into things, but the difference in her demeanor toward us, compared to how she interacted with lighter-skinned customers, was noticeable and disheartening. As regulars who have always supported this business, it was disappointing to feel treated differently. I truly hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the rest of the staff is talented and hardworking, and they deserve a respectful work environment just as much as every customer deserves equal treatment. That being said if you're of Indian descent I would stay away and find a different salon.

I originally went in for just a trim, but as Teresa and I got to talking, she mentioned how layers would complement my face shape. And I said, “You know what? Why not—let's do it!” And honestly, that was the best decision I’ve made all month. Well… actually, seeing the flyer for the student haircuts and deciding to spontaneously get a haircut might have been the real best decision. HOWEVER, the layers are definitely a super close second! Anyways, thank you guys so much. Everyone on staff was so incredibly kind and helpful, especially Teresa! :)

I ended up walking out of JCPenney’s when I was supposed to get a pedicure because Juliette had no good selections of nail polish, I felt like I was in a storage room in the back, there was no Wi-Fi, the massage chair didn’t work well, all the controls on it were broken, the ambience was terrible in the room. I didn’t think it was worth it. We go to salons to treat ourselves, and JCPenney’s is not investing in their employees.
