- DDDillonJul 8, 20251.0Probably one of the worst haircut experiences I’ve ever had. The stylist was rude and aggressively cutting my hair incorrectly. Clearly she was not having a good day but I ended stopping her from continuing to ruin my hair and asked the next stylist to cut it. The other stylist was great but I am giving a 1 star because great clips doesn’t let you choose your stylist and often times at this location you get stuck with really bad “professional” stylist.

It's not all the stylists, but one in particular (Freda) just can't seem to get it right now matter how many times I go. All I want is a LOW zero fade and half an inch off the top and I somehow end up with a MEDIUM/HIGH "fade" with way to much cut off the top. If you can't even follow the clipnotes that are saved ahead of time, I don't think you should be cutting people's hair anymore. Don't get me wrong, she wasn't ever rude to me, but I don't have this problem with any other stylist here. I will now be looking elsewhere which is a shame.

My hair was silky and beautiful, not sure how she managed to make it feel dry and damaged with a simple haircut. Hard to write a bad review, but this place deserves it.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
