I asked Monica Murillo for highlights, but unfortunately the results were not what I requested or expected. The color turned out orange and yellow, and the highlights were patchy and uneven. My family and friends immediately noticed how off it looked, and I was very embarrassed by the result. Because I was so dissatisfied, I had to go to another salon to have the color corrected, which cost me additional time and money. I also discovered while checking my receipt at home that I was double charged for my haircut. Haircut is $35, so I was charged $70. And that’s billing fraud! The service did not meet professional standards and the dishonest charge of an incorrect amount. I paid the total amount of $275 for partial highlights and haircut. I tried to discuss a resolution with the store manager, Tarcisio Paredes, but to no avail. He was rude, unhelpful, and had a condescending tone. He was upset at me that I went to another salon to get my hair color corrected. He insisted that I should have gone to them instead and won’t issue me a refund.
