    I would like to share my recent visit at JCPenney Hair Salon in Salinas. I asked Monica Murillo for highlights, but unfortunately the results were not what I requested or expected. The color turned out orange and yellow, and the highlights were patchy and uneven. My family and friends immediately noticed how off it looked, and I was very embarrassed by the result. Because I was so dissatisfied, I had to go to another salon to have the color corrected, which cost me additional time and money. I also discovered while checking my receipt at home that I was double charged for my haircut. Haircut is $35, so I was charged $70. And that’s billing fraud! The service did not meet professional standards and the dishonest charge of an incorrect amount. I paid the total amount of $275 for partial highlights and haircut. I tried to discuss a resolution with the store manager, Tarcisio Paredes, but to no avail. He was rude, unhelpful, and had a condescending tone. He was upset at me that I went to another salon to get my hair color corrected. He insisted that I should have gone to them instead and won’t issue me a refund.

    Debra a.k.a Debbie is so rude and displeasant. I will make sure never to have my children or I ever come again with her here. She complains about appointments and tells people what they want isn't okay. Just distasteful.

    The associates there on Monday apparently didn’t have “enough time” to do my hair when they had just came in to start their shift. I tried giving them a shot even after all these horrible reviews, but the reviews are all true. Don’t waste your time :)
