    I had a great experience with the esthetician Chloe. I decided to go in for a consultation a few weeks prior to services since I have sensitive skin and recently started experiencing acne. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped me to find some products within my budget that would work with what I had at home. Her recommendations were great, as I'm already seeing improvements in my problem areas. Today I had my facial, and I have nothing but good things to say! She was careful to check in with me to ensure I wasn't having reactions to the products being used, and made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. I left with a new cleanser to add to my routine, and a fresh face for the new year. 🥰

    Horrible experience booking at Roseville location. I had to cancel my appointment and will never book at this location again! They tried to up-charge me 50 minutes before the set appointment. I wanted to get a facial for an upcoming photoshoot and so I called the Rosevillle location because they had text me special offers on services. They told me that they had a platinum hydro-facial, Dermaplaning and red-light for $169. After shopping the price around to other locations, I decided to go with the deal but that’s when the problems started. When I called back to book the appointment, there was a different person on the phone and then they told me that they only had the regular Hydro facial available for 169 and not the platinum. I asked to speak to a manager because they already quoted me on that price for the platinum Hydro facial. Then, they changed the story to tell me that the Hydro facial machine was actually broken. I asked the staff member why didn’t they say that when I first called about the deals and an earlier in this conversation. So when I complained about being quoted for the wrong facial…the machine was suddenly broken. After some back-and-forth, they told me that they had another facial that could do with that was somewhat comparable and so I booked appointment for the next day. 50 minutes before the appointment, I got a call from the manager of the Roseville location stating that he wanted to “go over the Appointment and Services that I booked”. After stated the services that were booked, he then said that the pricing was gonna be more expensive than the booking price because the facial that I scheduled didn’t come with the $169 special. I told them that their staff had offered the other facial in lieu of the Hydro facial because the machine was broken and questioned why he would need to communicate the services when they’re already booked. I also demanded to know why they were trying to up-charge me right before my appointment. He just kept repeating that it wasn’t an up-charge, even though they were literally charging me more money than the $169 that I was originally supposed to pay. Then, he again changed the story and said that he’s mainly calling because the staff member felt that I was rude to them on the phone. I asked him why he didn’t lead with that if they had a problem with a booking. I don’t want to go to a place that’s supposed to be relaxing if there’s tension, so I questioned why they wouldn’t just tell me there’s a problem before booking, when calling and certainly not 50 minutes before my appointment rather than just trying to frustrate me by pretending to go over the devices and up-charge me to get me to cancel the appointment. He just kept making excuses that were clearly nonsense, so I ended up canceling the appointment. It was pretty clear that they were just using the pricing as an excuse to get the booking canceled and I refuse to tolerate that kind of treatment. I’m frankly shocked at my experience at the Roseville location but as I stated, I will not be returning. My experience with Loehmann’s Plaza has always been good. I’ve been going there for over three years and I’ve never had a problem.
