- ABAdrian BautistaOct 22, 20251.0Got a haircut today. The lady said I had notes about what I did last time and asked if I wanted to change it up or go with that. I told her to just follow the notes. Doing a 1 shave for the sides and back all the way up to the part (both sides) and don’t touch the top. Instead she did a fade. And also cut into the top because she did not do anything to move the top. And just cut straight into parts of it. She also didn’t even actually line up the part correctly. Constantly told me what other people do and what is “normal.” I swear young stylists have no idea what it means to open their ears and stop trying to be something. You want to do hair styling. Be good enough to either start your own or join a place that specifically does custom things. Not a basic hair cutting place. Not to mention she put so much pressure squaring the back of my neck, I thought she was going to shave off layers of my neck. I told her it was fine when we “finished” cause I just wanted to get out of there. DO BETTER!

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
