The worse customer experience ever.
I took my daughter for her bday because she has been wanting a certain perfume and Sephora had it in stock, when we stepped inside we were greeted nicely, but what made a first time experience in a Sephora sour was the following 2 associates. I had placed a shopping bag on the floor by the perfume wall (I get it. We got there an hour before closing) and the associate sprayed something by my bag and I immediately went to pick my bag up and she said “oh. We’re closing so I’m cleaning”. Mind you she didn’t even wipe the floor where she sprayed but my bag did have a few wet spots on it. My daughter finally found the perfume she had been wanting so we walked up and while walking the same associate bumped into me so hard it ripped my paper shopping bag. I pulled my arm and looked back and she turned to her left to continue walking. Not even a sorry or a replacement for my ripped bag. We stood in the cashier line for about 5 mins with no one acknowledging us until the manager told us the associate would help. The associate yelled from the front of the store “are you doing cash or card” I responded card and she said “I guess I can help you here” so we walked to the front and instant eye rolls and sighs when I had told her we didn’t have a rewards account. I declined to sign up because it was truly a horrible experience. She insisted about 5 more times I sign up or just give her a number from someone else who did have an account. She later sighed so deep when I gave her a gift card and I know it wasn’t the full amount of the item I was purchasing and she made a kind of rude comment. “This isn’t enough” while holding the gift card like trash and I said I know. I’m paying the rest in card. She sighed and said tap here. That was it. That was the end of the transaction.
What should’ve been an easy visit turned out to be the worse first time experience for me and my daughter.

I’ve been shopping at Sephora for over 10 years! Today I decided to finally visit this location and I left with nothing… after waiting for an employee to assist me at the fragrance aisle for the new Ellis Brooklyn spray & no one came to help.
