I went in for a haircut, when called back, I said I like long hair, especially in the back, and to take off 1/2 inch all around. Note: my hair was about 3inches down over the collar in back and completely covering my ears. I ended up looking like a palm tree with the back and sides shaved and long on top. The back is so short that the hair doesn’t touch a collar.

My sister was with me and clearly heard and understood the request I made, and commented that they didn't seem to listen at all to what I requested. They kept the length on the top only, and cut the sides and back significantly shorter. They seem set on providing the same basic boy haircut across the board, regardless of the actual request. While they were lovely people, I'm a bit devastated at the actual cuts, especially on my younger son's baby hair.
