  I received a Diptyque candle for Christmas. I opened the box carefully and although I loved it, I sadly I had an allergic reaction to the scent. I brought it to the Palo Alto store in the pristine original box and bag, in hopes to exchange it for a different scent. The store manager and personnel would have no part of an exchange, and were rude and defiantly refused to exchange it. Her words “ you can regift it”. As I do not want to bother the person who gifted it to me , I am left with an upscale product I will be unable to use. The attitude and rigidity of the store policy is outrageous (apparently it was bought online from a Diptyque store.. normally all purchases can be returned to a brick and mortar store, and I was not looking for a return, just an exchange!)! It discourages my interest in ever purchasing a Diptyque product in the future. I will definitely never return to this local Diptyque store.

  A very nice boutique and the staff are more helpful and friendlier than at other Diptyque stores. My favorite scent is the Seoul city candle, which is available once a year in stores or anytime I am in Korea. I wish thecl scent was available as a car diffuser.

  Amazing staff and shopping experience! I felt very cozy and welcomed by the staff and they were all very helpful about finding what I needed. Highly recommend shopping in store

  Snotty staff experience, but one has to deal with it to get the world's most coveted candles according to my wife. I'll let her run that errand next time she rolls out to Athleta. I'll be at Trader Joe's.
