  I visited Monterey Massage earlier today and had a great experience. I personally prefer very deep tissue massages. For me, if it’s not deep and a bit uncomfortable, it doesn’t feel effective. I’ve had issues at other places where therapists hesitate to apply enough pressure, but that was not the case here. I specifically asked for deep tissue work focused on my shoulders, and the therapist had no problem delivering exactly that. She was able to apply strong, consistent pressure and really work into the tight areas. I run a high-stress business and stay active with the gym, yoga, and jiu-jitsu, so I deal with a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck. This was exactly the kind of work I needed. The facility was clean, I was attended to right away, and the overall experience was smooth and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re someone who wants a true deep tissue massage, I highly recommend this place. And based on my experience, they can likely accommodate lighter pressure as well depending on your preference.

  Can’t recommend Monterey Spa enough!! So amazing and the girls Cindy and Amy are so sweet. The massage was excellent!!

  I had a great experience here! The place has recently been remodeled and it looks amazing—very clean, modern, and relaxing. The massage was excellent and the staff was kind, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. I left feeling refreshed and relieved. I will definitely be coming back!

  I love Amy and Cindy. I have a back injury and Cindy did fantastic. I will not let anyone but Amy and Cindy to massage me. It's taking me 11 yrs to find someone who understands my need no hard tissue massage. I totally recommend them.
