Karissa is incredibly friendly and professional. She genuinely seems to love what she does, and it shows in the way she cares for her customers. She took the time to help and provided one of the best customer service I've experienced. Thank you Karissa!

Went in to get shade matched because it was really hard to get someone to help me at Sephora. Met with Saloni and she was super helpful and very knowledgeable about all every product she used on me. Will definitely visit again for more products!

I was at the MAC store in Yorkdale with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While I was talking with one of my friends, I suddenly turned around when I heard a salesperson raising her voice at another member of our group. Regardless of the situation, it is unprofessional and unacceptable to yell at customers. When I later asked the salesperson about her behavior, she casually explained that the store was crowded and that was why she raised her voice. Another staff member then told us that it wasn't wrong because they only had four employees working and were under pressure. While I understand that retail environments can be busy and stressful, staffing shortages are an internal management issue and should not affect how customers are treated. If the store knows there is a promotion or special offer running, appropriate staffing should be scheduled to handle the increased traffic. Customers should not be subjected to staff frustration due to poor planning or workload pressures. We expected professional and respectful service, but unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Whenever I visit this store in the past , I found the customer service lacking. Today, my friends and I visited to purchase a few items. After making a purchase, we politely asked for a sample, but one of the employees responded rudely to me. Later, while we were still deciding on lipstick shades, we asked a question about the packaging color. Instead of helping us, the employee raised her voice at my friend. The interaction made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and we decided not to continue with our purchase and left the store. When we tried to explain that yelling at customers is not acceptable, the employees casually stated that it is common for them to lose their cool and treat customers this way during busy periods. That response was even more disappointing. I have visited several MAC stores across the GTA and have never experienced such poor customer service. I hope management looks into this issue and emphasizes treating customers with kindness and professionalism, regardless of how busy the store may be. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location. You have lost several loyal customers due to this experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at the MAC Cosmetics store in Yorkdale. I visited with my friends during the recent promotion and came to purchase specific products, including a setting spray and lipsticks. We spent time trying shades and discussing our options, which is a normal part of shopping for makeup. We had already selected and purchased some items and were planning to buy additional lipsticks once my friend finalized her shade. While we were confirming whether we had picked the correct lipstick shade, one of the sales associates suddenly spoke to us in a loud and rude manner, implying that we were only trying products and not intending to buy anything. The way she addressed us was embarrassing and completely unprofessional. Another employee later explained that the store was busy and staff were under pressure. While I understand that retail can be stressful, that is not an excuse to yell at customers or make them feel unwelcome. I've shopped at MAC locations before, including Eaton Centre, where the staff have always been helpful and respectful. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite. Because of how we were treated, I decided not to complete the additional purchases I had planned to make. I hope management addresses this issue and reminds staff that customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect.
