I had such a lovely experience at L’Occitane! The store is beautiful and everything feels so welcoming and well organized. A special thank you to Irina — she was incredibly kind and helpful. She took the time to understand what I was looking for, helped me find exactly the right products, and even assisted me in setting up my account. I really appreciated her patience and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Thank you!

I came from a tropical country and because of sweat, it is crucial to use Air Conditioner and deodorant. Perfume is very popular back home, and people go for trending ones. I grew up with Eau de Toilette with preference to fresh citrus and sweet floral scents (D&G Light Blue, Anna Sui Secret Wish). I only considered L’Occitane after being disappointed with Sephora. Sephora has an overpowering smell and when I asked for coffee beans to the staff, they didn’t have any and they looked confused. It seems that they’re not aware coffee beans help neutralizing smell. In contrast, L’Occitane store is very neat and tidy with a neutral smell. Online, they have guidance how to make perfume stays longer. Irina, the staff, first recommended vanilla scent, which is a bestseller. After sharing my preference, she suggested Verbena, especially because it is on promotion. She was very engaging and respectful, understanding that I need time to wait the scent to sink in and to think. As I tested Neroli, Rose, Osmanthus, she elaborated the ingredients incorporated. I’m glad that L’Occitane employs staffs like Irina. With years of sales experience, she knows how to help customers. I bought Rose Eau de Toilette and applied it right away. So far the top notes are good, I’ll wait until the heart notes and the base notes kick in.

The employees are not well trained and careless. Be careful to check your bag before leaving if you buy many products at one time. The employee won’t explain the return policy when you buy it. When you go for switching the wrong product they put in your bag, they won’t even say sorry for wasting your time for the visit. When you go for switching one product to another, they will require you to pay more for the price difference despite nobody explained the rule when your purchase it. They are cold and remote when you explain the reason why you want to return the product and don’t care at all without bothering to recommending a more suitable product because they are staring at the price difference on the machine! Maybe it’s because I am buying a relatively cheap package. I saw their big smiles when they hand a big bag to a big client. I will never ever buy anything from their store again. Please take some time to know your products and respect your clients equally without staring at the amount on the receipt only.
