- SPShay PJul 24, 20265.0I was heading to another shop at the Eaton Centre and did not need anything at L'Occitane. But as I was walking by, I casually wandered in. Even though one of the representatives was helping another client, she greeted me cheerfully and paused several times while assisting others, to ask whether I needed help. When I was ready to make a small purchase, someone else was speaking with her, so I flagged down another sales associate to cash out. Unfortunately, I did not get the first person's name and she was very nice, but from the moment Malaika started helping me, I honestly did not feel like leaving the store! She spoke to me about other offers I could benefit from, which isn't unusual, but what was unusual was her knowledge of the products, her professionalism, but most importantly for me, her warmth and genuine kindness. She guided me to other products according to my stated needs and her own observations, but also advised me very honestly about items she would not recommend for me. Because of her colleague's warm welcome, I stayed a little longer to look around. But thanks to Malaika, I came home with a bag full of enjoyable new skincare products PLUS an aftershave cream for my husband --all because Makaila made what could have been an ordinary retail experience, exceptional. I believe very strongly in giving a shoutout when it's deserved, which is why I'm taking the time to write a review and say, "Thank you, Malaika!"
