  I am not usually one to write reviews, but the customer service at this location is horrible. I purchased a $100 gift card in store at the Hillcrest location. My friend went to use the gift card AT THE SAME STORE and the funds were gone from the card. Someone had tampered with the card while it was sitting on the display rack near the checkout line. When my friend showed the receipt to the cashier and then the manager, that the gift card was purchased the day before AT THIS LOCATION they claimed there was nothing day they could do. I had to call customer service to which they showed the charges that had been made, and when I asked for a refund as it was not my friend who made those charges (as I had not even given her the gift card at the time the purchases were made), I was told I had to call my bank and claim a fraudulent charge...which after an investigation, I DID NOT GET MY MONEY BACK. The fact that this happened IN the store and the store was not willing to take ownership is really distasteful. It should not fall on the customer to call the bank and deal with this when it happened under the company's watch. I am now out $100 because of an issue that occurred in the store, but the complete lack of accountability and customer service made the experience even worse. Would think twice about spending your money at this location.

  I just want to complain about most of very rude Sephora’s staffs at hillcrest mall Most of them are not nice and have very bad behaviour to look people from top to bottom One of those with lined eyebrows I don’t know he or she is and talks with disgusting acts, even though this is the only Sephora close to me I have to go but each time I hate to go Even manager !!! All are the same So disappointed

  I had a very uncomfortable experience at this Shoppers today. I was purchasing a box of chocolates. There was no one standing in front of the cashier, and the counter appeared completely clear, so naturally I walked up to pay. Instead of simply explaining that another customer was still being served, the cashier tapped on a box of tissues near the side of the counter, looked at me in what felt like a very dismissive and condescending way, and pointed to the side with one finger. He did not explain anything to me verbally. I eventually understood that there may have been another customer who had not finished their transaction, and I would have been perfectly happy to wait. My concern was not about waiting — it was the way I was treated. The cashier’s body language and attitude made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. As an Asian customer, the interaction was uncomfortable enough that I couldn’t help wondering whether I was being treated this way because of my race or ethnicity. I cannot know his intention, but I do know how his behaviour made me feel. I hope the management takes this seriously. Every customer deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, regardless of their background.

  I came in during my birthday month and spent over $100. I accidentally tapped my card out of habit instead of using the gift card I had, so I immediately let the cashier Sahar know. She gave me a very unpleasant look and said “Okay? What do you want?” I had to explain that I was simply asking if the transaction could be refunded so I could pay with my gift card instead. Her attitude was unnecessarily rude and made what should have been a simple request feel uncomfortable. Really disappointed with the customer service on my birthday :/

  Rude,Rude,Rude!! Stay away from this place. Zero customer service standards. I asked one the worker if she was free and she literally answered "no" turned around and left. After her boss asked her to help me with item I wanted to purchase, she handed me wrong item and walked away. I even told the supervisor that people are Rude around here and she also instead of asking me what happened she just ignored what I said! Never going there again
