  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this Sephora location in Peterborough. Honestly, after the terrible service and complete lack of acknowledgment from the staff, I almost regret making a purchase at all. During my visit today, I was not acknowledged a single time by any staff member. I searched the entire store twice looking for the items I came in specifically to purchase, and not once did anyone offer to help or even ask if I needed assistance. I genuinely felt invisible. When I finally checked out, I made sure to mention my experience to the cashier. Her response was simply, “Oh, I’m sorry,” but it didn’t come across as though she was genuinely concerned or interested in addressing the issue. Probably because she too was on the sales floor at one point and ignored my existence as well. What was particularly frustrating was seeing staff standing around having personal conversations about their lives, including conversations about being in their 40s and getting waxing services with one another, while customers were being completely ignored. Customer service should be a basic expectation, especially at a store where customers are coming in specifically for assistance and guidance with products. This experience was incredibly disappointing and made me feel unwelcome. I definitely will not be returning to Sephora and will be taking my business elsewhere.

  I had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Delaney today. She absolutely killed it! I have never had my makeup done by someone else and she was so patient with me and my flinching when things come near my eyes 😂 She paid a lot of attention to detail and even though it was a lot of makeup, it didn’t look cakey at all and was so well blended. It also lasted through being outside during the extreme heat and sweating. I definitely took note of the products she used to purchase in the future!

  Lexis was so lovely during my trip to Sephora over the weekend! I needed some new products for my wedding and she was a huge help 😊

  This is the second time in one month I have bought an item and opened the box when I got home to find that there is nothing in the box. Staff should be in the habit of making sure products are actually in the box while they are checking customers out. Now I am in the uncomfortable position where I feel I look suspicious bringing in yet another box with a missing item. I wont shop here again. Clearly their shop is being ransacked on a daily basis and it goes unnoticed until a paying customer gets home to find the product missing from the packaging.
