  Went into this location after not shopping at a Sephora for over a year due to multiple negative experiences at the Bayshore location. This location is really bright and less busy. I love the employees approach of giving you space and explaining both pros and cons of product without the pushing to “build a basket”. My friend was really pleased with testing a concealer and being told to go about her day before buying. In this economy the girls get it. Also Treasure is amazing. Her energy and humour is truly unmatched. Get this girl her own store!

  The manager here made me feel very uncomfortable. Almost like I was being followed? She kept insisting on making me a sample when I was holding two creams even though I politely declined. I think she thought I was gonna take the testers?!! Then when I was about to leave I was standing by the door waiting for it to shut cuz my son wanted to push the button...and she asked me if I need help exiting the store lol..I said we were just waiting for it to close...the lady said it doesn't close all the way (even though it does) and "you'll be waiting all day just get him to push the button". I have half a mind to go back and return everything just because of this rude lady.

  I am very disappointed with the service I received at the Sephora Tanger Outlets store. The manager was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help when I needed assistance. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, I was simply told to contact Customer Service on my own. This behavior is not what I would expect from a manager. Customers should be treated with respect and professionalism. Because of this experience, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope Sephora takes this feedback seriously and provides better customer service in the future.

  Fully understand the return policy but the manager didn’t even take a moment to ask what the context was. I was dismissed despite the fact that the error was on behalf of the Sephora staff. It understand that there is rampant abuse with returns at Sephora, I wasn’t even looking for a refund but rather an exchange. Being dismissed and not being heard is the absolute worse behavior that can be exhibited in retail. I didn’t bother trying to explain myself because regardless of what the situation as this individual would not have cared or listened. This is exactly why Sephora is on the decline, as more customer centric retailers enter online and in person this will be the difference for longevity.
