    I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely appreciate Ashmeet for the incredible service she provided during my visit to Sephora. It was very busy in the store yesterday, but even with everything going on, she stayed calm, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire experience. From the very beginning, she was patient and welcoming while helping my mom at the Charlotte Tilbury section, making the experience feel personal and comfortable despite how hectic it was. For me, I was looking for help with a NARS foundation match. She did call for assistance from other associates, but when no one was available and I was still waiting, she noticed and stepped in herself without hesitation. That small act really stood out to me. She also went above and beyond for my mom by helping her order her foundation online since it wasn’t available in-store, and she additionally helped her find a blush that suited her perfectly. Her attention to detail and willingness to take the extra time truly made a difference. Even though it was a busy day, she still managed to help both of us with such kindness, patience, and professionalism. She didn’t have to do as much as she did, but she chose to, and it truly made our experience so much better. Thank you, Ashmeet, for your dedication, hard work, and for always treating customers with genuine care, even during a hectic shift.

    I had a very disappointing experience with Lexi at the Sephora Yorkdale on April 7th around 8 p.m. I came in to return a lightly used product and was assisted by a manager named Lexi. While I understand that not all returns can be accepted, the issue was not the decision, it was the way it was handled and the tone. Lexi’s tone was dismissive, condescending, and unnecessarily hostile throughout the interaction. When I politely asked if I could speak to someone else, she laughed and responded, “Oh honey, I’m the manager,” which felt belittling and unprofessional and a poor display of power play. At no point did I raise my voice or behave disrespectfully, yet I was treated in a way that left me feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. I ultimately left the store in tears. What made the situation more concerning was witnessing similar behavior directed at another employee during my visit. Since sharing my experience ONLINE, I’ve also heard from others who have had comparable interactions. I believe customer service, especially from management should reflect professionalism and respect, regardless of the outcome of a request. I hope this location takes this feedback seriously and invests in better training and accountability moving forward.

    I visited the Sephora at Yorkdale earlier today and I honestly had such a great experience thanks to the team that helped me. Eva was the first person who assisted me, and she immediately set the tone for my visit. She has such a bubbly, welcoming personality that made it really easy to ask questions and feel comfortable. She introduced me to some YSL products that I wouldn’t have even looked at on my own, and the biggest thing was a YSL perfume she showed me that I genuinely cannot stop thinking about. I didn’t end up purchasing it, but I’m honestly considering going back just for that alone. I really appreciated that she took the time to show me things that actually suited me and gave helpful tips along the way. She also connected me with another team member when I needed more specific help, which I thought was really thoughtful. Tommy was the one she introduced me to, and his attention to detail really stood out. When it came to finding my shade, he took his time and paid close attention to my skin tone and undertones. He ended up recommending a foundation from the Sephora Collection in a shade I would have never picked for myself, and it turned out to be a perfect match. That alone made a huge difference for me. He also helped me with eyeliners and lip liners, and everything he suggested actually worked well together. I appreciated that he explained why certain things would work for me because it made me feel confident in what I was choosing. Linda helped me toward the end of my visit, and she really brought everything together. By that point I already had a few products in mind, but she helped me slow down and make sure everything made sense. She has a very calm and reassuring presence, which made the whole experience feel less overwhelming. She also helped me pick out a really lovely Fenty highlighter that I probably wouldn’t have chosen on my own, and it suited my skin tone so well. Her suggestions felt very intentional, and I never felt rushed or pressured. Overall, the teamwork between Eva, Tommy, and Linda really made my experience stand out. You can tell they genuinely care about helping customers and making sure you leave feeling confident in your choices. I left feeling excited about my makeup again and would definitely recommend this location based on my experience.
