  Sephora is very popular and I get why it’s always crowded, but not all experiences with staff members are positive here. Sometimes I’d get treated by really supportive and friendly staffs while some others seemed rude and unhelpful. The other day, my sister went to Sephora to help me buy the Saie Highlighting Blush and it was her 1st time too so she was obv a bit anxious in that crowded atmosphere. The receptionist at the checkout was staring at her weirdly, and I was on call with my sister that time and asked her to ask the receptionist some questions about the product, but the replies that my sister got were just weird stares and rude, unhelpful answers. She told me later on that the receptionist looked at her as if she was gonna steal something. Again, I acknowledged that it’s a crowded place and they are trained to work speedily, but working fast does not mean you should be rude and unhelpful.

  Was trying to look fir powder and couldn’t see it so I asked one worker if she could look in the drawers underneath and she told me to wait there while she finds someone who has the key. I waited for 5 mins and no one showed up. I asked another lady and was told to wait again, and no one showed up. Then finally I asked another lady and she brought the keys and opened it. But the way they look and acted around me was as if I’m being bothersome. But then there was two other workers who were nice and I wish I knew their names so I could give them 5 stars

  I took a chance on booking a makeup session at Sephora at Square One Mall while visiting Canada, and I'm so glad I did. Nargis exceeded every expectation. Not only did she create a beautiful makeup look, but she took the time to educate me about every product she used and why it worked for my skin. I have very sensitive eyes, and getting lashes or mascara applied is usually uncomfortable and leaves me in tears. Nargis was incredibly gentle and patient. For the first time, I barely teared up at all. She also shared helpful tips for applying lashes and mascara with sensitive eyes that I'll continue using at home. What really stood out was that she never made the appointment feel rushed. She even helped me find all of the products she used so I could purchase them before I left. Nargis is talented, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients. If you're considering a makeup session at Sephora, I highly recommend booking with her. Thank you for making me feel confident, beautiful, and informed!

  Emily from Sephora was great, as soon as I walked in she greeted me with a warm smile and asked me if I needed help. I told her I was in for an exchange and asked her if she recommended a product and she took the time to skin match for me. She did not rush me, she took the time to throughly speak with me and explain the products I inquired about. I usually don’t have good experiences at Sephora but Emily at Sephora square one really made me feel valued as a customer. Thank you Emily.

  I went into the Square One location today and, unfortunately, had a really uncomfortable experience. The cashier who helped me seemed to have a major attitude issue and spent the entire transaction looking me up and down, making me feel completely judged. It’s honestly frustrating because I’ve seen so many other reviews online mentioning the exact same issue with the staff’s behavior at this location, yet nothing seems to change. It makes me wonder if there’s any customer service training happening at all. Just a reminder to the team: you can’t measure someone’s character—or their value as a customer—by what they’re wearing. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect when they walk into a store. I really hope management takes these recurring complaints seriously, because it’s making me reconsider shopping here in person.
